MACKLIN
Miss Chante R.

Chant'e R Macklin, age 33 passed away on October 12, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital after losing the battle against an infection. Chant'e was born June 19, 1983 on a Sunday and Father's Day no less! She was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio to Deborah Macklin and Mark McNair.
Chant'e attended Fulton Elementary then Robinson Jr. High School before attempting her high school diploma from JW Scott High School. During this time she met her daughter's father and Sha'Juan T. Ramey was born on November 10, 2004.
She made it her business to keep the family connected and to know about all the important event in our family no matter how small it seemed. She was also raising a beautiful daughter who is independent, strong, and smart and still acts like a 12yr old kid! Chant'e has 4 older siblings but still treated them like she was the big sister. When she cooked it wasn't just about the food actually it was about coming together showing love and getting loved back and that is what made Chant'e and all that she did so special.
She was preceded in death by her father Mark McNair, Grandmother Ora Lee Macklin, Cousin James "Pee-Wee" Coleman and nephew Michael Macklin Jr. Aunt Ethel Macklin and Uncle O.C Macklin.
She leaves to cherish her memories daughter Sha'Juan Ramey, mother Deborah Macklin, grandmother Mildred McNair, brothers Larry, Michael and James Macklin, Joseph Walker IV and Chinall Taylor Jr. sisters Charmaine, LaShawnda and Latonya Macklin. And over 30 nieces and nephews not counting Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends will almost round out the actual number of people who will miss her.
Family Hour will be 2 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2016 with Memorial Services at 3 p.m. at The C. Brown Funeral Home, Inc. Chapel, 1629 Nebraska Avenue 43607.
